Senior Support Care Assistant

This second-level direct care position may function as a lead worker and involves assisting clients with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, recording intake and output, participating in rehabilitation and transfers, and preparing, administering, and charting medications as a Certified Medication Technician under a professional nurse's direction. The role may also involve security functions in a mental health care setting and serving as a Restorative Nursing Assistant. Candidates should have knowledge of behavior modification techniques, medical terminology, drug classifications, and the ability to maintain records and reports.
Qualification:
