This position provides direct care, treatment, and security for forensic psychiatric and sex offender clients in maximum and intermediate security settings. Duties include assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, recording intake and output, performing security checks, and administering medications. Candidates should have basic nursing, first aid, and emergency treatment knowledge and be able to work with individuals with mental or physical illnesses, developmental disabilities, or geriatric needs.
Qualification:
0-1 year of experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
Nixon Forensic Center (NFC)
This high-security facility accommodates up to 300 clients. It primarily serves individuals referred by criminal courts, including those deemed incompetent to stand trial (IST) or not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect (NGRI).
Guhleman Forensic Center (GFC)
Located within Guhleman Forensic Center, SORTS is a high-security program designed for the treatment of up to 200 civilly committed sexually violent predators. The program emphasizes rehabilitation and risk management to facilitate safer community reintegration.
